There was a time in my life when I was going through a terrible thing, and life was just getting worse and worse. When something really bad happened again, I had already cried so much that I already felt numb, and I couldn’t get angry anymore.

It took me more than half a decade to finally get myself help.

I still remember it all very clearly. The slow dimming and brightening of the Christmas lights in his room; the smokey smell of his skin.
